Polypropylene incorporates many of the advantageous qualities of all other synthetics and natural fiber ropes. It possesses excellent strength characteristics, remarkable durability and handling ease. However, it is not recommended for use on bitts and capstans where heat is a factor because it will tend to stick and fuse. This rope has outstanding chemical resistance and dielectric properties.
