Overview
BLANK SLING TAG This tag is for use when you have slings in the field and the manufacturer's tag has been damage, removed or is unreadable. This sling tag has blank boxes allowing the competent person on site to etch/engrave all of the pertinent information (size, WLL in various hitches, serial number, etc.) on the tag in order to get your slings back into service after a loss of tag and subsequent reinspection. Use of this tag does not substitute a thorough inspection and examination by a competent person in order to ensure a lifting sling meets all of the ASME and OSHA requirements to be deemed viable.
