POLYESTER DOUBLE BRAID ROPE Double braids are actually two ropes in one. The jacket is braided over a braided core. Braid on Braids are very flexible and have a high strength to weight ratio. The jacket also serves to protect the core. Braid on braids remain round and firm and will not rotate under load. They are spliceable. Sizes from 1/4 to 1-5/8 diameter. Our stock rope is constructed of a polyester cover and core. This braid provides high strength with low stretch and excellent abrasion resistance. Applications: mooring lines, stringing lines, winch lines, underground pulling lines, guy lines, slings, and bull ropes.
